I love that amidst everything that is going on between Henry and Catherine at this point, he still seeks comfort from her when he is upset. He reaches out to her hand, to prove to himself that she is still there. That they have both survived this bout of sweating sickness.He takes comfort in her presence beside him.

And she knows, that all he needs a little touch. An unspoken reassurance that she isn’t going anywhere.
